Rockstar Games has found an unexpected way to show off new GTA 6 gameplay, and it is probably one of the strangest reveals fans have seen so far.
The latest episode of South Park featured previously unseen footage from Grand Theft Auto VI, showing Jason using a bag of dog poop to attack another character on a crowded Vice City beach.
The footage appeared in the October 28 episode, titled “Guinea Pig on a Stick,” from the show’s 29th season. GTA 6 has been a running joke throughout the season, but this time the creators went a step further by including actual gameplay footage from Rockstar’s upcoming game.
Fans initially questioned whether the clip was real or simply created for the show. However, the episode’s closing credits include a special thanks to Rockstar Games for the “Grand Theft Auto 6 Footage,” confirming that the gameplay came from the game rather than being an animated recreation.
The short sequence begins with Jason walking through a busy beach area in Vice City. A nearby dog makes a mess on the sand, and its owner bends down to collect it using a doggy bag.
Things quickly take an unexpected turn when Jason throws an object at the man, prompting him to react and start a fight. Jason then picks up the dropped bag of dog waste and smacks the NPC over the head with it.
The moment is gross, but it also gives fans a look at another small gameplay interaction in GTA 6. The NPC visibly reacts when the bag hits him, while the scene highlights how players can use ordinary objects found around the world in unexpected ways.
Can You Throw Dog Poop at NPCs in GTA 6?
Yes, the new footage shows that players can pick up dog poop bags and use them to attack NPCs in GTA 6.
During the scene, a small on-screen prompt appears when Jason approaches the dropped bag, identifying the item as a “Poop Bag.” This suggests that players can interact with the object and pick it up during gameplay.
The footage also shows Jason using the bag as an improvised weapon during the fight. It is not yet clear whether players can store poop bags in their inventory, carry them around for later use, or throw them at enemies from a distance.
It is also too early to say whether hitting someone with a poop bag causes any special effects, such as temporarily affecting their vision. The clip only shows the NPC reacting to the impact, so any additional effects remain unknown.
This is not the first time Rockstar has focused on small environmental interactions in GTA 6. Previous previews have highlighted detailed NPC behaviour, animals, crowded beaches, and a world where seemingly minor actions can lead to unexpected situations.
The South Park footage gives fans their first clear look at this particular interaction in action. It also shows how Rockstar is continuing to add unusual details to the world, even when they have little connection to the main story.
With GTA 6 scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, fans are now getting closer to seeing just how many of these small interactions made it into the final game. And if this clip is anything to go by, players will have plenty of ridiculous ways to cause trouble in Leonida.
